Project Management Basics (Virtual Instructor-Led Training)

In today’s project environment, project managers are challenged to meet the demands of both the customer and their own organization in delivering projects on time, within budget and within scope. To help the project manager succeed in achieving their objectives, it is essential that all members of his/her team become aware of and use sound project management practices.

This course is designed to provide project team members with the rudimentary knowledge and skills that will enable them to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring requirements of the project manager. It is intended to give team members an appreciation of the types and quantity of data that project managers require in order to keep a project within the confines of the triple constraints.

Defining Estimates for Project Activities

  • Identify the difference between estimating costs and determining the budget
