PMI® Agile Certified Practitioner

The use of Agile frameworks to manage projects is rapidly expanding beyond software development and into hardware, manufacturing, and service oriented industries world-wide. In recognition of this fact, Project Management Institute (PMI)® developed the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification to certify an individual’s experience and knowledge of applying Agile principles and practices to project management. The PMI-ACP is not limited to one Agile framework, requiring candidates to have a understanding of a broad range of frameworks to include Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, Test Driven Development, and more.

This course includes 50% discussion, 25% hands on exercises, and 25% practice exam and detailed reviews.

No prior experience needed, this course can fit any skill level. PMI’s minimum requirements to apply for the PMI-ACP certification are:

  • 2000 hours general project experience working on a project team within the last 5 years or curren tProject Management Professional (PMP)® or Program Management Professional (PgMP)® certification
  • 1500 hours Agile experience in the last 3 years, in addition to the 2000 hours of general project experience above
  • 21 contact hours of training in Agile practices
