HAVERTOWN, PA (August 31, 2006) - Starting in October, a new online program will bring a Project Management Certificate from an accredited university within reach for organizations that want to complement classroom training and satisfy learning needs without geographic limitations.
The distance-learning format of the Project Management Certificate Program, hosted by the University of Alabama in Huntsville's (UAH) Division of Continuing Education and delivered by PM College instructors, eliminates travel costs and enables participants at multiple sites to receive the same training in the same time frame. Each course is held in a three-week duration. Its flexible format allows for both individual and group study, and provides definitive beginning and ending dates to allow managers to plan training schedules that meet the organization's needs.
The course curriculum is based on the Project Management Institute's A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Participants earn their certificate by successfully completing the following four courses. These courses will be offered to the public beginning in October 2006, and are available by request at any time for corporate groups of 5 or more.
