BEIJING, CHINA (June 18, 2007) - More than 1.3 billion people in China depend on the government's ability to effectively manage projects arising from the nation's rapid economic growth. In an agreement with the Asian Development Bank, the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) selected U.S.-based PM College to provide third-party project management training programs for more than 30 of its national project and program managers.
Under the agreement, enrolled members of the MOA will undergo more than 100 hours of project management training in courses from PM College's Project Management Certificate curriculum. The pragmatic Western teaching style employed by PM College instructors will give Chinese project managers practical skills and knowledge needed to apply theory to real-world applications. This marks a continued broadening of PM College training programs with various Chinese Central Government-related organizations. PM College has been in China for nearly five years and has an established office in the Haidian district of Beijing managed by Chinese representative Linda (Yingbo) Jiao.
"As China continues to experience explosive growth, agricultural and ecological projects are on the rise," said Deborah Crawford, President of PM College. "Our instructors understand the Chinese culture and the new demands being put upon China's project and program managers. PM College is prepared to deliver an exceptional project management training program for the MOA's project and program managers."
PM College's Project Management Certificate curriculum is designed to give project managers the breadth of knowledge they need to successfully manage and deliver projects.
